So I thought I had better add some pictures from Halloween. I forced Jack to dress up this year but Truman picked what each of us would dress up as. So he was a skeleton cowboy (which we were skeptical about, but ended up looking pretty good.), I was a witch and Jack was a mummy. For Jack's costume I went to a thrift store and bought an old sheet, then I tore it into strips and then I spent an hour wrapping him up and I thought he looked pretty good. But by the time we got to the church his wrappings had all shifted down and had made it impossible for him to walk, so he just tore it off. Luckily I caught him in time to at least get a picture of his head wrapped up. I am convinced that I can come up with a way for this mummy costume to work and I am determined to try again next year!!!!

How festive of you to dress up. My kids want me to-just can't do it. Truman is very creative-I like the skeleton cowboy idea.
Next year, try fabric glue or just this stuff called "It Sticks." The first, only if you don't care about the clothes you are sticking the fabric to, and the latter if you do.
