Twenty-Forth Post From Türkiye: Spring Break Stop #5 Florence

I was so excited for Florence. We stayed in this amazing little apartment, ate fantastic food and enjoyed some truly wonderful art.
We could have done with a few less groups of American college and high school girls. Note to all girls who fit into this group and are considering a trip to Europe with your friends: Shhhhh. Seriously, I know you're excited, but you don't have to use your outside voices everywhere you go, including outside. All other tourists, everywhere will thank you.
Anyway...
Florence!
The most charming rental apartment ever and our sick kid.

If someone is selling books Jack has to check the merchandise.
We were walking along these narrow streets and turned the corner to see this sight of the Duomo. It was unexpected and wonderful.

 Palazzo Vecchio
Don't worry Paula & Trina, you can still buy Disney stuff in Florence.
 Tiny Car.
 Ponte Vecchio

Tired, pitiful child.
Tired, pitiful child eats a giant meatball.
 Enjoying the Arno River Views

Florence at Night. Piazza della Repubblica

We woke up early to get in to climb to the top of the Duomo. 463 Steps to the top.

 Trum rests from the climb.

 San Marco

 Frescos by Fra Angelico

 Accademia

More books on the way to the Uffizi Gallery.
We saw so much art in the gallery, even Jack was tired when we were done.

Just so you know this produce is Mafia Free.
How to take a picture of someone without their knowledge: Pretend to be taking one of your kid.
Rowe Spring Break 2015 = Total Triumph!
