Can You Help?

Now generally I am not the kind of person to pass on info like this but the Bloxhams are people we know from Idaho, Jack went to High School with them and they were in our first married ward. Their little girl Gracie has cancer and I was wondering if you would take a minute to check out this blog...
http://graciecare.blogspot.com/
and maybe help them out if you think you can. Thanks!!!

Future Tycoon

How do you even spell tycoon?
Any way.
So Truman will randomly want to try and make some money, scratch, mula, bones etc. by selling stuff from around the house. Most of the time he wants to set up a stand on the side walk for this purpose but I haven't ever let him. Mostly because I don't want to sit out there with him but also because the stuff he wants to sell is a little unusual and I think our neighbors might find us to be odd (which we are, but why should they know about it?).
For example, Truman recently came up with the scheme to set up a business selling cotton balls out front. Why cotton balls? I have no idea, apparently he feels there is a high demand for them around here. When I told him that he could not set up a cotton ball stand outside(also there was still snow on the ground at this point) I thought that would be the end of it. But oh no, our little man came up with an alternate scheme.

This is what I found in the bathroom.

He made a little sign with a person holding a large cotton ball and 5 cents (the cent sign is backward), then he taped the sign to the cotton ball container and put a little mug in front to collect the 5 cents you are supposed to pay when you use a cotton ball. He has not had much business yet. His dad is the one who uses cotton balls most often and he refuses to pay for something he bought for the household in the first place.

At some point I am sure he will hit on a really great business idea and then we will all be rich!

More Tribute to Jack

He had long hair, a beard, and he played the guitar, how could I not fall in love with this guy?!

Then after we were married the truth came out... He loves Elvis. Maybe too much, we are planning our whole vacation this year with an Elvis theme, for crying out loud!

What can I say, I love you Jack!
(aka Smakey, Monkey Face, Punkin Hedz, GI, Timmy Jack, Munkult...)
(also recognised as Best telephone book deliverer, weed picker, mail box melter,
Chair of Doom Giver, Friend...)

Jack: He's a Man and I Love Him

Jack and I just celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary yesterday and I thought I would pay a little tribute to him on our blog.Look at that face! He was such a cutie!

So maybe he had some awkward preteen years! Still, that is one sweet Hawaiian shirt!

Aww, such a manly man! His hands are even bloody in this picture!

Monday Mornings: The Ugly Truth

Weekends can be rough. There are these two people who live at my house with me. During the week they are gone for a goodly portion of the time and keeping up with their mess is manageable. But Friday night brings trouble. I can keep up with it for most of the weekend but by Sunday night I am worn out. I don't have the energy to nag anyone else to clean up or to clean it up myself. So I just leave everything until Monday morning. So if you happen to stop by my house on a Monday Morning THIS... is what you will see.

Dirty Dishes!!!

Various G.I. Joe Battle Sites!!

A Marshmallow/toothpick creation, a homemade fishing pole made from a mini baseball bat and some gift wrapping ribbon, and a storm of papers I created while frantically looking for all of the forms that needed to be signed and returned to school today!

Well, you may not see these exact messes but you will see something equal if not greater than these piles of beauty!
